Pictures that make you think.

Finding this site was the highlight of my day. Lots to look at and you can order t-shirts of your favorites. Very cool. My Brain is mush since I’m on virtually no sleep. Mac was sick over the weekend and let’s just say…there was a lot of cleaning and deoderizing going on. Poor little guy. I’m hoping today is a better day for him (and me).

pretty on the inside

I found a tiny cocoon today just outside the doorway of my best friend’s house. At first I didn’t know what it was. Then, as I peeked around to the other side (on tippy toes), I saw the familiar wing of a monarch butterfly. I’ve never seen this kind of thing in person before and I was excited to be able to take a picture of it and share.

Tiny miracles are the best kind.

MARVELOUS  MAD  MADAM  MIM!

This is my latest kick: animation; specifically, pencil tests. I can’t get enough of them. I’m in love with the process and the perfectly imperfectness of them all. I found Pencil Test Depot today. A blog belonging to Jamaal Bradley who is currently a senior animator at Dreamworks (what?! and the coolest-freakin-job-on-earth award goes to…. JAMAAL). I’ve officially added “learn more about animation” to my 2012 to do list.

You can check out Jamaal's personal blog here.

hello…love

I’m not much of a girly girl and I’ve never had any kind of wedding fantasy (a few nightmares, actually)… but this dress from BHLDN is amazing (Cascading Goddess Gown). There is a video showing how the dress flows as you walk… I would say I do to almost anything in this dress (wink).

found :: wrist worms

I’ll be begging my BFF to teach me to crochet this weekend, just so I can make some wrist warmers like Sandra Jutos (pictured above) Aren’t they sweet? I suppose I could just knit them but it’s about time I learned to crochet.

And, just so you can see what it’s like inside my head, while posting this I’ve been singing “inch worm” – the Danny Kay version from the movie Hans Christian Andersen (gosh, I’m old).

Then, I remembered this from The Muppet Show:

Happy Friday everybody! I’ll post my gift-away for you tomorrow, don’t miss it!
