I remember drawing Winnie-the-Pooh a lot when I was younger and wondered if I could still do it. I like how this one turned out. It’s not based on anything in particular, it’s just my interpretation of the quote I found online. I’ve been feeling a little (ok, A LOT) tubby lately so of course I treated myself to a one-scoop sundae on my way in to work today. I thought to take a quick video with my phone while I was wrapping up:

Oh YES I did! I made another wookiee. I’ve decided I am allergic to fun fur though. The latest addition to my collection of Hance inspired stuffies is bigger (bought way more fur this time) and, dare I say, wookieer than my first creation. Somehow he’s a bit lighter than the first. I did 80% of it on the sewing machine (yay me!) so I was not able to stuff him as much, I guess.
I thought I’d wait until book #2 came out to show you this but I couldn’t look at that face any longer and not have a proper photo session. Then I got bored and instead of doing work, work I am posting. To be fair, I did force myself to wash the dishes (ugh) and mop the entire downstairs (oooh, lemony) before starting this post. I’ve been in a funk the last two days and I thought sharing this might cheer me up. I think it’s working, I feel a tingly-ness…… oh, wait… nevermind, it’s just the Pine Sol high wearing off.
I didn’t have nearly the trouble with the satchel as I had the last time. I’m a free form crafter (I just wing it). I have the idea and poof (haha, 6 hours later) I either have something great or I have a great mess. Either way, it’s fun and a good way to relieve stress. At some point I’ll create a pattern for this little guy, but for now I like that he is one of a kind.

Just when I think I cannot love anything more than everything James does…he goes and shows us THIS. As James would say “I’m over the moon” about it. Completely smitten.

It’s re-opening day! To celebrate, I’ve got a free printable for you. There’s a 12 month calendar (July 2011 to July 2012) at the left of the 5.5″x8.5″ note sheet. Click the image or link (below) to download the PDF. Visit the shop again over the weekend to see what’s new. Thanks!

Could there be a more perfect man? Muppets, Winnie the Pooh, Star Wars, Labyrinth oh my! I’m buying this book today, my Monday is going better already. Check out my new crush: James Hance. Happy 2011!

June is my birthday month…I’m probably going to remind you 10 more times in the next couple weeks so you’ll get to celebrate with me. And here’s my gift for you: a 1680 x 1050 June wallpaper featuring Winnie the Pooh (my favorite bear) and a sweet quote:
“If you live to be 100, I hope I live to be 100 minus 1 day, so I never have to live without you.”
—more gifts coming in the next week or so (hint: rhymes with divaway!)

Rivers know this: there is no hurry. We shall get there some day.
If you live to be 100, I hope I live to be 100 minus 1 day,
so I never have to live without you.
When late morning rolls around and you’re feeling a bit out of sorts,
don’t worry; you’re probably just a little eleven o’clockish.
